Does anyone still use this?

Love to hear what some of you have been making with it.. As I still enjoy using it too.

  • I never know what the hell I'm doing when I change settings in this or iM1 because the names for everything are different, though I should probably read the manual(s).

Different to what (i.e. what is it you’d be more familiar with)?

  • Yes! Still one of my favs. Even have the MS20-ic controller to use with it. My first iPad synth app. Still #1 on my apps page. Just wish Korg would add selectable MIDI channels.

Now that I think about it they all use their own specific language and I don't really understand any of them. I just turn knobs and hope for the best or worst, depending on mood.

  • Very fond of this app. Probably nostalgia at this point BUT whenever I pull it out something good happens (Nurse).

Would you, for example, not get too lost with this?

  • @u0421793 yeah that I get, but notice how the MS-20 has different things sith different names, I dunno what it is about the Korgs but I feel more lost with them than with others.

  • Cool. Glad it's not been completely forgotten. Like @MusicInclusive, it was my first app purchase and still one of my top 10, great sounding flexible apps. Lack of midi not too much of a problem, for me. I'll bounce parts out to Cubasis if I need to.

@rhcball, sometimes it's better to play around with an app for a while before going to the manuals, then, when you do give them a read, at least half of it will make a bit of sense !

And thanks for posting that pic @u0421793. You know in some circles that's considered as porn. At least I'm gonna have to change my underwear now, "nuRSE"..!

Same here, great when used with the controller.

There are some great MS-20 vids on youtube that all apply to iMS20 also.

Strangely it wasn’t linking back to where my original picture lives in my flickr ‘gear’ album, but it is now. This is the whole album (two pages of it): https://www.flickr.com/photos/iantindale/albums/72157594207872508
