Traktor do opinions
Is this best dj app option? I read some reviews about issues with iPad version 9 and I have 9.3. It is always mentioned when there are issues but never when they are fixed. I'm leaning towards traitor but not sure if the issues have been fixed or not

Well I took a chance, and omg man Traktor totally kicks ass!!! It is unbelievable that I can dj with only a ipad. I'm just blown away. So I have put working on my next album on hold. Going to be dj'ing for a while....feeling completely motivated and creative
Happy for you! Sounds like fun and I am curious to see what you think of it after a few days of using it. I am considering it myself. I have Djay Pro, and I'm looking at Cross DJ too. Good luck!
I have both djay pro and cross dj and the work flow is limited, also traktor gives you so many more features.
I'm a full-time DJ. Hate to burst anyone's bubble, but Traktor DJ is one of the worst dj apps.
NI made so many bad decisions that no real DJ would use it.
For instance...it's playback is stuck in a 'slip mode'. If you touch and grab the waveform the playhead keeps moving, so you cant scrub the audio without it jumping down the track. You're forced to use cue points or slice mode. Every other DJ software you can turn slip mode on or off.
Also, there's only global tempo and no individual pitch control for each deck. What if you want to start a track at a different tempo % than 0, without syncing it to other deck? NI also removed the library integration with the desktop version which was one of the biggest initial selling points. I could go on and on about the lack of midi, support for only NI proprietary hardware, but you get the point. Don't be fooled by flashy effects... nearly all the iOS dj apps have the same slicers, delays, reverbs, cue points, etc. Traktor DJ is the most gimped out of the bunch.
DJDJ is the choice right now! The only dj app with Link.
it is a fun app so who cares about anything else
