Desktop MIDI-to-Link app...
...anyone heard anything about a developer such as Alexandernaut mentioning the possibility of such a thing?
I'd love to be able to send MIDI clock from Logic X to an OSX app that then syncs it with Link enabled apps on my devices. As iOS apps that do such a thing already exist, I wonder if it would be easy to port to OSX. I'm sure there's some demand for it.
Obviously, I could buy Live again, but I sold it last year with the intention of sticking to Logic. I timed that badly..

If you own gadget just grab the free ableton live 9 lite from it. You could use it to sync vsts to the iOS device or to record a few stems. Or you could even midi sync live9 lite to logic using virtual midi and use live9 to sync to iOS apps.
I do have Live Lite and considered syncing it to Logic but Live is notoriously poor at keeping up with external clock. Better than nothing, I suppose.
