  • Is this different from AUM?

I think the obvious answer is yes. Not really qualified to comment but many folks here most certainly are. I did pick it up, but can't say I ever got my money's worth out of it. Likely because my use/workflow isn't that relevant. Or I was just too dumb to leverage what it offers...

    Ditto

  • MiMix pros (compared to AUM)

    • Better workflow ,since it's inside AB and gain state-saving
    • Price

    Cons

    • Lacks advanced routing
    • Adds some latency on sends
    • No internal FX

So if you are always inside AB ,it's great app. I personally prefer AUM and AB combination.

  • But Mimix has panning or, I see this as the main advantage vs AUM...

  • AUM has panning.
I got MiMiXmini because I wanted mixing and panning in Audiobus. Works great no fuss - consider it a "premixer" with state saving.

  • Ohhhhh you have now discovered for me the paradise!!! I didn't realize I could do panning with AUM, thanks!

  • Yup:
Go to the FX "insert" section and under stereo processing > stereo panning

  • Thanks, I immediately checked and saw it!
