Infinite looper + blocs wave? Anyone using this combo
I already have modstep but was thinking blocs and infinite would be a great combo. Link the two, create a track and then sample into blocks and then remix with slice mode..
I love the immediacy of blocs and get the vibe that infinite has the same kind of quick workflow
Comments
IL is only midi, not audio, blocs is only audio not midi....for now anyway. I think...
Another good combo is Blocs Wave + AUM + Audioshare.
1)insert Blocs into AUM and slice audio
2)Add either AU or IAA effects.
3)Record arm the track. start recording
4)open new pad in Blocs. import new effected recording into the pad via audioshare from "aum recordings"
Pretty sure he meant sampling the synth being controlled or the internal soundfonts of IL into blocs wave.
That sounds like a coolworkflow too.. And yeah @JohnnyGoodyear I meant using the midi looper to create a trackand sample elements on the fly into blocs for slicing..
I'm thinking then I can export both the midi and audio to a DAW later
The link support is what makes it so tempting
Link is pretty much a must have for me now. Since the recordings sync to the start of phrases. This is specially useful when recording in aum since all the recordings when exported into a daw are in perfect time. I basically record arm every single track and record all of them including the master simultaneously to export into my Ableton.
