Multiple audio input devices in AUM ?

@j_liljedahl Is possible to use more than one USB audio interface simultaneously on iOS9 in AUM.

I have a UCA202 and an Alesis Core 1, I want to use the UCA for input from Circuit and the Core1 for input from Guitar.

I tried this last night using AUM, but it seems that AUM is only displaying 1 Core audio device. Is this AUM or iOS ?

Thanks in advance

  • It is a OS thing, just like if you are using a audio interface via lighting/30 pins and the internal audio devices(speakers and mic) get out of the way. Also on OS X you can use one and only one audio device being it aggregate or not. I'm not sure 100% about this.

  • Yep, this is a limitation of iOS. Only one Class Compliant audio interface can be recognized.
