Beta 7 just came out. Any issues appear to have been fixed. Dev is hoping that next step will be release candidate. Is focusing on getting Caustic out the door and then his new Mastering app.

  • @anickt If Caustic is a 5 (it isn't, that's meaningless, but bear with me) what would you give the update...major leap forward or decent polish up of the original?

I'm not anickt but thought I'd chime in. Some really great improvements. I guess it depends on what you consider to be major or minor. I'm looking forward to the new synth and the ability to build sampled instruments from multiple devices. Lots more in there, though.

    What do mean polish?

    I am kidding.

    I have same question.

  • I don't like the Commodore Amiga look Caustic have...

But, it's a beast that is undervalued...

  • Oh how I wish Caustic will merge with Nanostudio.

    What @overorange said.
Also, the wave editor with timestretch. Stereo sampling finally. I'd say somewhere between a polish and a leap.

    @ErrkaPetti

Just use the Darker skin and all is well. B)

  • The new supersaw synth is really good and I also think Caustic seems to look much shinier and new in the forthcoming update.

  • Im looking forward to the update. :)

Please, don't forget some humble people are still using iPad4.

  • How is the- make your own wave shape- in the bassline, and the random generator in the 8 bit working out?-

  • @robosardine both features are working well.

Agreed - both add a lot of sonic possibilities.

Best thing about Caustic is that you can theme it. There's a bunch of awesome ones on their official forum other users have made or you can have a go at making your own.

    Thanks for the that!
