Musix Pro playing LaPlace to Auria via AB - records silence
I have Musix Pro controlling LaPlace. I go to AB, hook MP as input, Auria as output. Auria track is armed to record, hit play, record, switch over to MP. Hit a few notes, go back to Auria, and have only a track of silence for the time of the notes.
What's up? Is this the wrong way to use MP? I've also tried having MP/LaPlace come in to Auria as an FX, and record that way... Still only records silence. WTF???? :-)

I think you need to switch to Laplace in the AB input, if you're using MP as the controller.
Hmm - tried that, and still no go. Also, By not having Musix Pro as the input, you also loose the Audio Bus control. I'd like to try using MP as a player/keyboard, but haven't been able to record anything. Even tried going to loopy and got the silence again. Must be missing something big here as I would think this is a "proper" use of Musix Pro.
have you tried both Musix and LaPlace in the AB input? I don't have Musix Pro, but that is how this kind of setup usually works
Try to simplify your setup by using the system output in the AB output slot (the iOS device speakers) and Laplace in the input slot and make sure you're getting audio out. Then put MP in another input slot, or standalone, and see if you can control Laplace. If you get audio out at that point, add Auria back in the output. If it still doesn't record, take a closer look at how Auria is configured.
Kaikoo2 - Thanks for the details. Not exactly intuitive, but Now I Know!
