  • Update in App Store now.

  • Thanks for the heads up!

  • Haven't stressed it yet, but it appears to be more stable so far.

Seems to be working fine on my end. Imported some user SoundFonts and they are working, which is a step up from before. :)

  • Gentlemen,

I am the developer of Soundfont Pro. The latest update (available a couple of days back) on the App Store is now stable---finally! I apologise for any inconveniences caused. There have been some significant internal changes in the app file and directory structures for the latest OS version which caused all this heartache. You will also notice a decrease in latency in the keyboard response when arrangement window is open.

    Best Regards,

    Azfar Jafri

  • Thanks @Jafri....working much better at this point.

  • Thank you for such a great app @Jafri

Like you, this one passed me by. Could you share a brief elevator pitch on what it adds to your efforts/allows you to do etc (now it's been fixed; good work developer :))

  • @JohnnyGoodyear There's a video on first page by Doug, that may fill you in.

So.... I'm just a guitar player....... Trying to make some noise on the keys........ ;)

So far, I have enjoyed the ability to add two different sounds to one press of the key. (sorry, I will not have all the technical jargon correct in my blab. lol )

After I re-watched the video from the STR, and received some additional instruction from @Jafri through email support, which he was extremely helpful, like with a capital E!

I figured out how to load the soundfonts to different areas of the keyboard within the app. Haven't tried it on my midi keyboard yet. I really like how there is, next to the XY pad thing, the ability to at the push of a button, add some Flanger, auto Pan, tremelo and the other options.

I still don't know if I fully grasp the way the Zones work, but at the moment, one of the presets I have created, or what ever it is when you touch the yellow load button, is Full string in zone one, with dx-syn harp 2 on the right side(upper keys) Then in zone 2, I have a soundfont called Finale and TB-Bass 9

I dion't know how it all works, but I have percussion on my low end keys, then strings mixed with certain sound fonts, and just a cool sound when I hit the keys. Now..........to make it into music.............hmmmmm

That's my kind of explanation, all regular words and trudging along in a sensible line :) So, it's a zonal thing.....hmmm. Could be good. I will go off and look at Sir Doug's video and wait for you to throw in a SOMTC with the result of your fine efforts!

  • working fine with iOS11?
