Hi, i would like to have some Yamaha XG soundbank and i just found this app MDXG .Is it something like the Roland Sound Canvas ,meaning we can play the sounds,or is this app required an hardware synth ? Can we use this app in IAA or AB . I cant find any videos or demo ...Same question for midi designer xw casio, midi designer pro and mdclav ?

Looks like the app is 'midi-controller app' that needs compatible hardware for the sounds.
As far as I know there is no Yamaha XG module similar to the Roland iOS SoundCanvas for iOS.
The Yamaha Music Mobile Sequencer and Yamaha Synth Arp & Drum Pad offer a limited XG Soundest to play with.
Thank you, i found a Yamaha XG soundfont bank but its limited too .MDXG seems to have some XG soundbanks like guitars , organs in the presentation pictures of the app.The app ´s size is 25 mo, perhaps there are some included sounds in.Let me know If someone tried this MDXG ...
Thanks for the questions, we're making Craig Knudsen (author of the layout/app) aware of this now, and I'll circle back as soon as I have more info. Thanks!

I hope this answers your questions.
Thanks for your interest in MIDI Designer XG!
Can MDXG be used to add a third right hand voice to be played from the Clavi.
