  • Oh yes. Cool

  • I have loops, where?

  • I feel this is a big step forward. I know it's not some technological breakthrough, blah blah, but in usage terms it's going to really encourage me. I know there's more things (THERE'S ALWAYS MORE THINGS!) to see developed here, but I initially thought that this was one more 'pack looper', but it's already a hell of a lot more than that. Interestingly (for me) it's made it to the front page, but I've put Loopy along side it and am using the two of them very much in concert....

Me too. I get these two apps Link'd together and boom... They complement each other very well.

  • Downloading now. This app is quickly becoming one of my go-to apps.

  • +1 go to

  • Yes! Thank you Blocs Wave Team!!!!

No doubt it's me, not the fine app, but I've never been able to get comfortable with Loopy HD. It looks great, and I can see what others do with it, I just can't seem to get the timing right, and always end up frustrated.

No such problem with Blocs Wave, which I've taken to like a duck to water.

I have an aversion to circles, just when I think I'm getting somewhere with them, i find myself back where i started.

Couldn't agree more, I could never get the timing right with Loopy HD either.

I can never get the timing right with loopy either. good to hear it's not just me. although seeing other people use it with ease (especially on jimmy fallon! :() makes me think I'm not doing it right.

  • There we go, now from my point of view blocs is complete, now i can just max it out even with my own loops. :)

  • All y'all who have had issues with timing with Loopy: have you tried the count-in and count-out features?

To me, the timing controls in Loopy are one of the app's strong suits...

^ exactly! this is what makes Loopy HD better than most of the hardware loopers. Timing is dead simple, once you have it set up right.

edit: sorry to get off-topic there. Blocs looks very interesting. If they add MIDI controls for loop recording I'm in ... unless Loopy MasterPiece comes out first :-0

    Yup.

Maybe our friends at Loopy can point to a video they know of which would give folks a refresher on this...

    +1

  • Maybe next up we may se a scene feature so we're not limited to 8 tracks, maybe 4 scenes with 8 tracks each :) or 8x8

  • Is there a way to program blocks to play in a specific order?

  • This is absolutely brilliant!!!....... Thank you very very much to the Devs for doing this. I wish/ hope, that Rim can implement this technology into Auria Pro(& Cubasis).......... This is very simular to Ableton Live, in the way of adding loops, which are stretched to the BPM when you drag a sample into a track automatically. Then it's all "Linked" up. All together in one 8 track happy family. I've set a 124BPM, then added a Drum & Bass drum riff(160BPM) then threw a Bassline of 100BPM. Put them all together, & wham!......... All synced & mashed up!...... Hope the Dev add more than 8 track, maybe to 16 track that can output individual tracks when recording in a DAW............ BRAVO!!!!........ <3

  • Now the loops can be flattened, would be good to have a direct transfer of all blocs to Launchpad and viceversa :)

  • Is Loopy Masterpiece still coming?

I think there are quite a few folks who would buy the IAP for another 8 tracks....
