I get it.
I would love playability of Oscillab.
Even in the IKaossilator format would work
I just thought of another one
THIS FORUM
Shhhhhhhhh.
Just think of it as deep background research...
Woohoo! Mad love for Oscilab, although it's been awhile since I last used it. Is it still getting love from the developer and/or 24 bits?
Just thought I'd mention the obvious - (insert name of your mobile DAW here)
I lost a day yesterday and half of one so far today in Auria, learning how to MASTER, using HEADPHONES, on my COUCH. My nice JBL monitors are only 30 feet and a Griffin StudioConnect away, but I just KNOW I can do it. The couch keeps telling me this ...
Animoog and Thumbjam running into AUFX Dub and Space, with DM1 going into Virsyn reverb. I like reverb.
ah haa!! !
AppStore is my Most used app ...So many days reading user's reviews and searching an unsung gem.Sculpting a good voice, lyrics and song with the Waldorf attack singing Text vocoder is an another Timekiller hobby...
If you are into that, then I know you have this monster, right?

FYI: NON AUDIOBUS (use in AUM or IAA with DAW)
This thing just updated after years, and is good to go! LOVE IT
Works on IPHONE as well.
I am guessing you have ID10 or whatever the hell from KORG? Another great Vocoder type thingy.
My favorite vox/vocoder app is probably believe it or not in CAUSTIC.
What type of stuff are you singing?
How is ATTACK these days? I always found the sound inconsistent and the parameters often "off" for some reason as I would adjust things.
That was a while ago.
I would start a Fell Short Within Touching Distance Of Greatness thread and Attack might be on it, but I'm guessing it would turn into a bit a negative shoutdown, rather than wry celebration....
Haha! , If I may @JohnnyGoodyear , I really think that it would be a good thread. The positive part is only half of the picture. The facts are neither positive or negative. Points of view might be, but who cares. Some apps are as you brilliantly put it: "Within Touching Distance Of Greatness". Devs might be interested in what people think of that, for the benefits of all.
-someone you qualified as curmudgeon
@RustiK Yes i have those apps but i like the TTS vocoder cause i cant Bear my Own voice.Waldorf attack has the best phonem and synthesis option (Nave and ids10 have similar but less powerful).I would love to see something like PPG Wolfgang Palm Phonem, vocaloid, chipspeech or realivox blue on iPad and with a french TTS ,my english vocabulary is almost first year of nursery schooI . Caustic really ,Is it TTS too ?
You're right, there is negative and positive in almost all things: I feel regretful for calling you a curmudgeon, which is a negative (perhaps for us both!), but the positive is that your English vocabulary has been expanded by one, and as you well know having a dozen or so more colloquial words you can drop into conversation (in your second language) causes people, unconsciously, to add somewhere between twenty and thirty IQ points on to their estimation of both you and what you're saying
My point was that things in essence are neither negative or positive, they just are. IQ and what people think of it are irrelevent and delusionnary imho.
I encourage you to make that thread, seems promising.
Ps: If feel totaly fine being called a Curmudgeon.
UPDATES! LOL
iDensity
and
forgot ELASTIC DRUMS the first time.
This song started playing in my head when I saw this thread.

Ah Hah! !
I've been putting in a lot of time with Xynthesizr, creating songs one 2 or 4 bar section at a time. I'm kind of surprised how well it works. You just press play, trigger the patterns from the browser (though you do have to open the browser each time). Somehow this method has led to some very moving, yet simple music.
