Rustik, you make noise... and waste world energy by clicks
And database storage has to save your wastes inside the drive.
There's got to be a better way to say that!
Your link has problem, check that thread. It could cost more energy to fix a link?
Thank you sir. This is the drum sound I'm chasing down. Does it have to be a Waldorf?

I love how it is the same, but different. Same comfortable feel of the DM1 interface but totally different sounding due to the synth engine. It doesn't replace DM1 but adds to it.
Someone can do it with Attack doesn't mean you or me can do it. Maybe you or me can do it even better with DM2 with some extra fx. Attack has more heavy features but hard to deliver result on grid. Speaking my feeling, I don't want to use something can not comfort me, DM2 gives me that comfort with its UI, which no drum apps can do so far. I am with DM2.
already you know that? Cool. Best endorsement I've heard yet. I'm in.
@ExAsperis99 ,
DM1 and DM2, the best combo drum sounds. I immediately deliver euphoria to myself on Modstep with Moodscaper. I don't show you how good that be, I enjoy myself without any criticism. That is happy moment should be followed every time.
Ok
Bought it.
45 seconds in I love the kik I just made. How do I save it...?:)
Save your preset kit with song. Then change to other kit by title bar browsing to other song kits (From Other Songs button).
Thanks for this Captain. I found that bit confusing....
Bookmark this http://www.wiseguysynth.com/larry/convert/bpm_table.htm link.
Good for your DM2 drum synth tuning.
Really? How so?
That table is about timing isn't it? Converting BPM to milliseconds between beats and sub-beats.
How does it help you tune your drums?
Beautiful piece of kit. Sounds fantastic. Looks great. Reminds me of Fxpansion Tremor. The polymetric business (set # steps separately for each voice) is very cool. Being able to graphically manipulate synth parameters in real time opens up very cool sonic possibilities.
@Pascal@Audionomy please add automation like DM1 . With automation, this DM2 becomes a real powerhouse IMO
Through oscillator envelope, there is an attack and decay timing. Use the msec to time how long the step beats should be.
I first check the bpm column value; then let's say 113 bpm, which leads me to first 16th column to get value 132.74 for 16th beat on snares. And 4ths column to get value 530.97 for quarter beat kicks time width. In another word, I have to adjust the drum envelope attack and decay combined time within that 530.97 ms range. It can be shorter but not longer than range. So I will hear the drum sound finishing its path in that time range. In this way, the sounds on steps will have clear defined timing. It gives a much clear brain storming on how each sound be mangled on bass, middle and treble parts without esoteric mudding in the mix.
I learn this technique by a youtube video demo. So it may give a space timing on drum with bass. Hope this explain a bit that fanciness.
I say 'tuning' is probably a wrong word for adjusting osc envelope, it should be beat length timing instead.
Hi ExAsperis,
I had that song listening long ago. After more listening today, I think the DRC octave strip bars on both side can do the tricks for those lead and bass mod. DRC is good companion for drumming.
Well, it is a weekend coming up and I am definitely tempted at least. The price is right , I just do not need it other than because I might be more bored if I do not. Then again,
I'm My browser is acting weird and moving topix up and down the page I think. I keep getting signed out is why!
appholic and peers pressure, no cures. Its like a Grey's fifty shades syndrome.
Now that he got DRC bugs worked out it deserves credit for the amazing app that is.
It is like a fresh take on an old idea, which is commonly attempted yet seldom attained.
I SWEAR I did the same thing yesterday with the strips with this app, Animoog, and Patternning! I used it for rhythmic pad sounds or basslines.
I notice there's a screen glare across the app in the store screengrabs - is this an actual thing or just added to the screengrabs ? It'd be a bit of a UI design fail if it's in the actual app...I can get plenty of glare for real thanks lol
Actual!
For you is a failure. For me is a success.
Love so much the UI. The point is not shading. The point is comfort touch with eyeballing.
I never have that good feel with other drum apps. Large, spacious, easy arrangement.
No angry to hear the opposite. I just simply like it. Lovely.
Come on, it just a 5 bucks that you share with many many users. Developer is experienced enough and understand what is needed.
He already said to improve the midi, rest assured.
Yes I asked this question too. I would rather it was not there. Believe it is in dm1 as well(?).
There's a slight glow on the top panel but that looks fine . In the store screen grabs DM2 also has a fake screen reflection across the whole page . Sorry dev , but if true that's just naff lol
Don't see it on DM1. Don't mind it on DM2 but would like to know the design-thinking from our friend the developer and also (perhaps) have the choice to toggle it off (perhaps there is somewhere...)
Only ANOTHER 5 bucks ( or more for us in the UK ) to spend on a drum app . I've already got all the others - with the amount I've spent so far I could have hired Ringo lmao
That's pure lyricism there.
He catches naturally what I waste time baitlessly fishing for, bastard
