MIDI-CONNECTION ISSUES: You having any?
I am having some issues lately.(IOS ones as well)
I feel like as of the prior IOS update before last, my MIDI connection via lighting Camera chord on my IPAD AIR 2 is very temperamental. If often requires multiple attempts before the IPAD recognizes the hardware.
The MIDI keyboard I really only use with this IPAD is a LAUNCHKEY KEYBOARD.
The thing is this. Whether it be total dumb luck, but, when I attempted to plug into AIR 1, I didn't have the issue.
So, at this time, I am trying to narrow down by process of elimination, what is causing this MIDI hardware connection issue with IPAD AIR 2.
Do the camera adapters go bad, wear out, and need to be replaced?
Is there some firmware you are aware of for NOVATION?
Is this an IPAD AIR 2 issue? Was it brought on by the last update? It coincides with the update B4 the last one.
Or, am I missing something?

1- Are you aware of the number or apps or specific apps that influence the speed and ability for your IOS device to connect to MIDI?
2- I guess it is the old question if an app is not open does it have any effect on your IOS device performance?
