AUM midi learn

I need help with midi learn in AUM, and nanoKontrol Studio. On record, mute, and solo, after setting midi learn, these will not stay engaged after pressing button on nanoKontrol Studio. Any help will be appreciated.

  • Hey mgmg4871
Ran into something similar when I was trying nanoKontrol studio out at a store with my iPad.
Posted a similar question awhile ago here, someone said that using the computer editor, you can modify the nanoKontrol behavior so that it can latch/stay engaged.

Not sure how that works, or if those changes can be saved to memory in the nanoKontrol. Hopefully that earlier guru will post here with more details.

    Good luck!

  • Many thanks @roygbiv

  • I tried setting momentary to toggle in editor for button behavior, but it doesn't seem to save settings.

  • It works in Gadget, so I'm guessing it's AUM specific.

  • I have an older nanokontrol, which works fine in my setup with AUM. Did you save the changed configuration to your nano? Can't think of anything else just now... . Good luck, t

  • @animal Thanks for response. I did save changes, but they won't stay. They always resort back to momentary.

  • @mgmg4871, Did you see this video? It should work for you , if you use it as the Sonar setup and Mackie universal control by Klinke...
It is mapped to that S,M,R, pan, etc. Pretty neat, many channels and tracks...
(And start it up his way.... The button sequence)

  • @soundklinik thanks. This issue may be app specific. Mute, solo, etc all work in Gadget. It's just not working in AUM. Maybe Jonatan can chime in.
