do you have a pro or non pro?
go to apple store and under accessories you wil find exactly the dongle you need.
Air 2
For Novation Keyboard
Get the new "lightning to usb3 camera adapter" it lets you charge the iPad same time as you use hubs, soundcards, keyboards etc.
+1 on that, it works perfectly with my SLMKii. Air-2.
Do you have link to the actual product?
There are so many out there.
THANKS
Pretty sure I read or viewed someone reporting problems with the new cck.
But....don't remember where. Discchord? Sonic state? Somewhere else? Sorry, just relaying memories.
@RustiK , I got mine from Apple Store.... I wouldn't dare to use aftermarket copy..free shipping in your country.

This it?
This makes so much sense about the power issue!
Yes. I took Pictures.
Mind you. If you're going to use a hub with a ton of gear like an Audio interface + 3-4 other devices the hub will still need its own power. Audio interfaces particularly drink Too much power on their own and don't like being attached to something else guzzling power like a novation remote keyboard. That being said my iPad literally never runs out of power now. Which is great
I have a Novation Impulse 49 (that can't be powered from iPad directly) and it plays nicely with the new Lightning to USB3 adapter (the one gonekrazy3000 posted above) when power is applied to that adapter - and the iPad charges. I also have bought an Audioquest Dragonfly Red (it's a USB DAC & Amp, the size of a USB thumb drive) and this works wonderfully using that adapter into my iPhone 6, so I can charge the iPhone and listen to high quality audio (line level) in my car or with headphones.
Note that this adapter needs iOS 9.something (9.2?).
It needs 9.3.
