pykas loop app opinions
Ok so this looks too good to be true. I think its AB and midi coming soon. But it looks too kid like to be a real looper, am i way off point? How is the actual timing of loops, like dead on rhtmyically or is the app more for just random noise type loops? Thanks yawl.

Link? I can't find it
I spelled wrong. Here
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pyka-loop/id517836626?mt=8
we should gather all the loopers on the app store and make a lil folder or something
Donut is a werid looper. I can't figure it out at all ha. Anyone know how to use it?
Yes you have to load a sample into first then the rest should be self explanatory .
To load a sample after you have opened the app you press the "com" button (purple lettering).
In the top right hand corner you will se a button called "Comlink" press that and
you can paste a sample from the clipboard or open a file from dropbox. Then exit out
once done and press the load button (purple) and select the sample you just imported
the donut will start playing your audio. Start tweaking the knobs. You can also record
your tweaking session inside the app. Ipad 3 struggles to run it so...................
Pyka_loop has been around a long time no? Anyone used it?
I don't see any videos at all anywhere.
Thanks for donut tip, I think I've been just recording feedback from mic and then looping it haha, It gets cool tho I swear.
And Yeah there is nothing on pyka loop! Weird, same with some of the other loopers. Not many reviews or info and the websites are mildly cryptic.
It was called Feed up until the last update. It is very good as it stands and the dev has been looking at bringing AB in for a few years now. I'm sure it will happen at some stage. I think he uses it for his own performances and as a teaching aid.
That makes thing a lot more straightforward. Thank you. What a weird piece of work (in a good way). Only obvious question: Any getting out recorded files beyond iTunes that you know of?
August 2014
I bought it. it was $1.39 here in canada. I'm not regretting it so far. Not completely figured out but having fun learning. already got my money's worth. thanks op.
Already got a great tune going about a small sandwich.
Thanks, loops good! opinions, hell its 99 cents i just don't want too many apps syndrome
You can copy any audio used or recorded in the app into Audioshare or any app that accepts general pasteboard.
Just use the com button and there's copy and paste buttons above the audio file list.
Brilliant. I thought it was just for internal use. Great to hear otherwise. It is the perfect 'make a small piece of something you're going to drop into something else and wonder later where the hell you got it from' puppy. Especially good so far for vocal samples....Thanks.
So pyka is fixed loop length huh? 99 cents so I'm not mad but so far I can't loop proper, and I'm a looper junkie so what am i missing. This is supposed to be for kids haha! I can loop a few second part but it won't stop proper and everything else is just pretty shapes so far. help a brother out here
the latest sample app to not have panning right?..... ffs
