Gadget - any way two merge two files into one?

So I have created one little snippet of a song in one Gadget file, that I would like to somehow import into another Gadget file so that I can make a song from the two, is this possible?

You can merge the Gadget Ableton project exports within Ableton easily but I'm pretty sure it's not possible within Gadget.

Your best bet is to save the midi out of the first gadget project and open in, say, MTS, AuriaPro or ModStep. Then simply play that midi back into new blank tracks in your second Gadget project and hit record.

    Should work ok.

Many discussions about closed and open shops amongst different apps, but it has long irked me that I can't easily bring in one bit of Gadget into another. Seems egregious etc.

Pretty good point - a clipboard that's persistent when switching project files would be nice.
