Here is a demo and tutorial on how to set up the four different play heads in Fugue Machine to run four of iceWorks synths, I also set it up inside AUM to have control over the mix.

Thanks for the great comments, for a self confessed midiot I find myself trying to dig a little deeper into the murky world of iOS MIDI just lately, and I think that's down to such brilliant apps like AUM, Fugue Machine and AUXY amongst many many others
