Overcoming the sandbox

I recently got animoog and was really excited when I heard I could do program changes (but apparently no bank select) in it and with iFunbox I could edit categories enabling me too make a favorites category and conveniently put patches into it for easy live use. Unfortunately I discovered that after ios 8.3, apps like that won't work anymore due to new apple limitations. So, I'm wondering what you all have been doing since this happened, if you have any solutions other than jailbreaking, and any other ideas that might help my process.

    I still use iFunbox for basic file management. No jailbreak. iOS 9.3.2 (and the various 9s before that). Though I haven't specifically tried to do that in Animoog's sandbox.

    I heard that it works for pc but not Mac. Do you use a pc?
