Mitosynth & SoundTestRoom presets

Just got pulled into YASA (yet another synth app) - Mitosynth. Also pulled in the free presets from SoundTestRoom, but now can't find them. Did the download fail or do they go to a special folder?

Any patches you import should be listed in the Presets folder under "My Patches".

  • Hmm - don't see such a folder so guess I didn't do the d/l correctly.

Enter "Mitosynth" in the "Search your files" box in Dropbox and they should show up.

  • Re ran the d/l, and Mitosynth said it was importing but still didn't see them... So flushed the app from memory, restarted, and the new folders and presets were there. Thanks STR!

As cool as Mitosynth is, it was a bit disappointing to see how the presets are ordered... With so many, each Category/folder should be collapsible. Now you have to wade thru all the user presets to get to the factory stuff. A very minor blemish on what looks like a really powerful app.

Many of the stock presets have metatags that you can search by (i.e. "Dark" "Strings"). In the Library tab, tap the "price tag" icon to bring up the various tags. That might help narrow your search.
