Expression pedal works with an ipad?
I have been curious about whether an expression pedal may work with an ipad for volume control in music apps or for organ control with Galileo. Is it possible? Anyone have experience using it?

I've used an expression pedal thru the iRig Keys to control the Dictator in Turnado. If that means anything.
I am sure this is not possible. If it was possible to use external effects with an iPad in a live sort of record as you play scenario- then everyone would be doing it...... At least I would. I am more than happy to be corrected on this though. I still use guitar effects and Kaoss Pads- but at the moment I am recording them on a digital recorder- then recording this back into Audioshare- not a huge hassle- but a bit of a pain.
I think the only way to do this is to use a midi controller that has an expression pedal out. Then you can buy a volume pedal to connect and midi map it to iPad controllers.
I also remember once stumbling across an adapter somebody made that converted a regular volume or wah wah pedal output to midi - so you could connect directly to iPad via cck. I think it cost around $80 ...
for $80 you'd be better off getting this http://www.amazon.com/Logidy-UMI3-MIDI-over-Controller/dp/B002YL81RW?ie=UTF8&colid=3GH3A97DDX014&coliid=I3RA8CJFFEML5V&ref_=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl
i haven't tried it but it's been sitting on my wishlist for awhile
You'd need a midi expression pedal still though right? Or would this convert a regular vol or wah pedal into midi data?
Expression pedal it looks like. I just assumed one would lean towards an expression pedal since it can do double duty.
