WTF Do Those Knobs Do? Nave Spectrum explained (new video, done proper!)

edited June 2016 in Creations

Ignore the previous video from Saturday, I’ve done a revised one, the way I originally had intended to do it, i.e., properly. What The Fuck Do Those Knobs Do? Nave’s Spectrum section.

(I’ll set the previous attempt to unlisted, but if you could all publicise this new one, tweet and retweet it, fave it, subscribe to it, etc, then by the time I switch on monetisation settings and adverts, much later, it’ll have some effect, thanks).

(In fact, if you could do the same to the MonoPoly tour on my Far Guitar Soul channel, appreciated too) (this one’s on my Nured channel, as it’s educational, rather than creative).

Looks like I’ll be taking seriously the idea of doing this as a series, then.

  • Very helpful info. I'll have to play around with those knobs some more, and now I have a way of visualizing what's happening. Thanks, Ian!

    Thank you for watching.

  • Interesting - thanks!

  • Once understood, we can further detect how old those stars are.

I am guessing those astronomers are Nave long term users, because they think those spectrum plots are stupidly fun toys.

the most fun I am having with the speech synthesis in it
    unknown pleasures :)

btw. maybe it would have been a good idea to use a freq. analyzer to show what is going on, scope is not very telling.
