MIDI Designer Pro 2 out

I must say I'm a bit disappointed.

I knew this update was coming and was hoping for "slide over" so that I could use it to control midi ccs and notes while seeing the recipient app at the same time.

Something involving a sequencer or link would also have been nice

I don't really get what's actually in the update.

  • I've never liked the "look" of this app and that's quite important in a controller i think. They haven't really improved that at all unfortunately.

  • I would agree. But could live with the look.

    However I can't see really why it's a version 2.

Slide over in iOS is so under used so far. And yet it would be so cool for a full DIY controller app like this. Imagine it next to gadget while automating 20 different parameters.

  • @Matt_Fletcher_2000 totally agree on slide over. I use Side Car app for this and it works well for me.

Yep. But it's just on off buttons unfortunately isn't it?
