Might be a corrupted project - best thing is probably to post on the Auria forum so that Rim can take a look.
I had that happen. I figured out it had something to do with my external USB midi controllers. I unplugged them all and I was able to change instruments. Started plugging them in one by one until I found the culprit. It was a while ago, don't remember exactly, but I think it was either my Akai MPD226 or Korg nanoKontrol 1.
I did some further testing. Auria Pro instantly crashes when trying to change instruments whenever I have two of my Korg nanoKontrols (original version 1's) plugged into my USB hub, along with my Akai MPD226.
If I only have one nanoKontrol and MPD226 plugged in, or if I have two nanoKontrols and no MPD, it works fine. It is something about those three controllers together that causes the crash. Doesn't matter how many other midi controllers are plugged in (also tested with and without SparkLE, nanoKey2, and others.)
Also, I haven't experienced crashes in a while because I started using an iConnectAudio4+, and this combination of controllers does not crash it if the iCA4+ is in the path. (@nickbatz props to iConnectivity!)
@Philippe Is there some combination of controllers that is causing your Auria Pro to crash?
Definitely a question for the pros over at the Auria forum. There are more than a few guys over there who would most likely know exactly what you're talking about. I'm not one of them.
In case you don't already have it (I'm sure you do)

Thanks, I do had a nanokontrol 1 plugged in. It seems to works without any midi device connected.
