My favorite app. This update has a so good new randomizer feature.
Plus, it is working well now with Modstep.
Oliver, Thank you !
Great updates. Keep up the good work. The app is growing, and growing on me. Thankfully it's elastic so I have a lot of freedom
Thank you Oliver!
Thanks! Great for randomize all sequences.
love the randomize update Oliver, I hope you're expecting request for an 'all instruments randomizer now' cause that would just complete the dopeness and thanks again for all of your hard work!
Program Change to switch user presets !!!
inc/dec for sound by midi !
Woohoo, that's so usefull (to me at least...)
THANKS !
And all it takes was 2 mails couple of weeks ago...Mr O-G-Sus can make our life so simple...
It's great to see an already well regarded app getting fleshed out and refined by its developer, I've been impressed with the progress Elastic Drums has taken in the last year.
Ropey performance on my Air 2 when runningat the same time with Thor - controls grindingly slow until it froze up . Always had performance problems with this one , can't share the excitement I'm afraid
Enjoy and savor your Elastic before the whole world catches on fire.
Imagine Elastic, sequencer and all running inside of an AU...this is my dream.
Why? So you can run multiple instances at the same time? Hard to imagine a need for that, or that an iPad wouldn't choke up under the load.
Exactly, I can't even run one instance plus one synth, and nothing else at the moment.
I'm going to try deleting and reinstalling
I tried running Izotope's new VocalSynth on my desktop and it just about started screaming in pain and agony (the computer, i mean). iOS tech insufficiency is spreading like a plague in my basement. I might just get a kazoo and an old cassette recorder.
Over on the ED FB page there's a survey of potential features for ED... go vote!
Where is your service for that page link?
In my case 1 or two instances integrated with other AU instruments in the project that are more linear in nature.
For example in GB you have the integrated drummer which is brilliantly executed (just the sounds are small imo). then you can quickly head over and add Creamy AU Bassalicious in another track, then some iSem Auliciousness, some Ruisy back beats....no IAA switcheroos needed....even quickly hum a scratch vocal using EarPods.... All while sitting on a bench in a beautiful park in 72 degree weather....
Elastic Drums in my case would be a better drum pattern sequencer than the one built in to GB.
But this does take power. I'm not anticipating that the next level of iOS music productivity will shine on pre Air 2 devices, however in iPad Pro 9.7 I'm finding it can support enough concurrent processes in realtime to give me the tools I need for this dream
