SunrizerXS
Ahhh!
Runs like a charm on the iPhone 5 w/ MultiDAW.
Gives me a VERY clear picture of what I can expect, performance-wise, if I upgrade to an iPad 4.

iPad 4 is even faster than the iPhone 5. But just by a little bit.
I saw that graph! Believe me... I've been chasing the dream of a fully touch-based mobile studio experience for years.
I feel like I can see the ideal looming.
I've had no problems w/ SunrizerXS (besides not utilizing it yet for composing).
And, the iOS music scene is dynamic - aren't we seeing a couple of apps a week port over to AB recently?
sunrizer on an a7 chip is crazy, over 26 voices ...
just wait, something is in the air
Sunrizer XS is a great value at $2.99. An INSANE value. It's true that some of the preset banks that work for the iPad version do not work on the iPhone version, but the presets usually tell you that in advance. There are still plenty of options.
I guess the one thing that bugs me about both Sunrizer on either version is that it has this great interface (love the old-school inspired all-on-one-screen display on iPad) and the sounds are ice, but almost all of the presets have either crazy amounts of delay/modulation, or are intended for Arp sequences. If I want a nice simple synth lead and don't want to have to create it from whole cloth, I find myself using some of the "older" synths like Cassini or nLog as much as a I do Sunrizer.
can't believe I missed the last .99 sale. this and impaktor...
I get the iphone version when it was for free on May or Aug 2012. I don't remember.
