Beatmaking apps with AudioShare "Open In" functionality
Hi guys,
Have just loaded all my analogue drum samples into AudioShare. Does anyone know any beatmaking apps that support the "Open In" feature? iMPC and iMaschine 2 don't am I right?
Cheers x

Patterning.
Cubasis does too, if you want a full DAW.
Patterning looks like the one tbh.
Any idea about Multitrack DAW or Korg Gadget?
TriqTraq?
Different drummer does, DrumPerfect Pro too.
Many do, and despite all the functionality of AB/IAA/AU, copy & paste may still be my preferred workflow for making rhythmic loops into a DAW.
Two my notable favorites that do NOT have it are SeekBeats and Rock Drum Machine. But AudioShare's trim and snap features make it pretty feasible to clip drum loops out of pretty much any app, it's just an extra step or two
Pretty sure that EasyBeats 3, DrumJam, FingerBeat, and MoDrum all allow this. That's just the ones on my phone - there would be over a dozen on my iPad (some already mentioned).
Multitrack DAW is my workhorse for tracking since the iPad one... simple, effective and reliable
it's great for elaborating ideas, in particular by loop recording with punch in/out
you set a loop section of your track and within the loop you set the punch-in and out markers
(then it records between those markers over and over again - until you're happy with the result)
MTD is not specifically focussed on 'beat making', but refreshingly straight on the job
cheers, Tom
The Audioshare support in Caustic is pretty neat.
Beathawk can also access AudioShare using its iCloud Drive/DocumentPicker feature.
Samplr has open in and is surprisingly good for beats
and if you're dealing with already mixed audio it's a slice of heaven
Yeah I'm gonna use Samplr, thanks guys!
