Sampletank - gone free?
Currently Sampletank is free in the US store, usually it is $19.99 or fairly frequently $9.99. I downloaded it via iTunes because I don't have room for a 1 GB app on any of my devices.

it's obviously not the regular 'FREE' version, the difference (at first sight) seems to be 27 to 140 instruments

What you are talking about is the "FREE version" (which is always free and may be upgraded to full version for 19.99 IAP)... while the TC is talking about the "FULL version" being currently free (= you get the 19,99 update IAP of the "FREE version" for free... Which is not a small bagain IMO).

Nice app and I really want them to add aftertouch so I can use it with my EWI.
Does the app support multi outs either via audiobus or via Iaa ? A multitimbral app that has a single output is a lot less useful to me than one that has multiple.....

Yes. It could really shine as an AU. Lots of quality bread and butter sounds that feel so distant way out there in IAA land.
