Bias Output Drops To 0 When Launched In Audiobus With Loopy

Hey guys- when I launch a preset that has Bias in the Effects slot and Loopy as the output, the output slider of Bias drops all the way down rather than staying at unity where it normally is when it launches. I of course can manually slide it back up, but is there a setting I can change to keep the output from changing whenever I lauch both apps?

  • Bias Amp or Bias FX, or?

I tried with Bias Amp and Bias FX and couldn't replicate the problem. Are you sure you didn't save the state that way?

  • Yeah, I'm sure. System audio input-> Bias FX -> Loopy HD. Saved the preset with Bias FX at unity, closed everything, relaunch Audiobus, select the preset, launch Bias FX and Loopy, and Bias' output goes all the way down.

  • Anyone have any ideas? I still haven't figured out if this is me having a setting wrong somewhere.

  • Have you posted on the loopy forum?

  • Does it still happen if you don't load loopy?

  • @BryanRTyler I can reproduce it as well on an ipad3 running 9.3.2 . You can even watch the output slider move to zero when you launch bias and Bias FX. Looks like it may be turning it down in anticipation of the awful feedback.

Just replaced Loopy with the system audio output and the level drops to zero still. So it's not related to Loopy.

  • Bumping this up. I haven’t used Bias FX in a long time so I figured I’d give it a try again, but this little annoyance still exists. Has anyone ever figured out a way to stop it?
