VR Headset recommendations for iPhone SE?
Last time i checked then out google cardboard was fairly new and there seem to be a lot of new cheap headsets around so would appreciate some recommendations to look into with good support and video sources and good overall quality with da video etc.
One with gamepad support would be good, can you connect something like a 360 controller? Are there any applications for audio?
Anything under £50 would be great unless it's really worth it, i want something i can try out to see how well it works, seem to be some decent options within that price range.
Cheers!

Bump.
Wrong forum; no-one using VR?
I definitely would be, not at the moment though.
There's some cheap headsets on ebay i might give a try. There are tons of options now, would take a while just to research but the vr box seems like a good inexpensive option.
Does it work with an iPhone? I wasn't aware of one that worked with iPhone. If be interested in how you got on.
I though there were iphone specific ones but they're mostly based on screen size and have to have a gyroscope. That's why i was asking, wasn't sure which were compatible with iphones and worked well. Here's a comparison article, lots of options! http://www.vr-iphone.com/comparison/
Yes they are. I got a Google cardboard knock-off from eBay for my little cousin. Gives me a headache and the cheap sets are crap but they can work with all iPhone sizes. I done care for the music but did you see this @musikmachine http://www.synthtopia.com/content/2016/07/01/deadmau5-is-getting-a-google-cardboard-virtual-reality-game/ ?
@TGiG thanks. There seem to be some decent options like this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Tepoinn-Glasses-Headset-Adjustable-Smartphone/dp/B018VLZL7G/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1467741647&sr=8-3&keywords=virtual+reality+headset
But you'd be skeptical at that price! Some mixed reviews but people don't say which phone they're using it with; seems hit and miss with the fitting and the viewer so i'm leaning towards a cardboard version for now with a view to get a homido or similar.
Hey there,
So I tried a couple vr headsets purchased on amazon but they were not top notch... I eventually heard of www.starkvrpro.com and I got the Focus VR headsets for iphone. It works well on both my iPhone 6Plus and my son's iphone 5. You should take a look!
It's very important to get a headset with adjustable IPD (InterPupillary Distance) and independent focus for each eye. I believe this one fills the the bill. https://mergevr.com/
There's a major issue with the majority of VR headsets, a lack of hardware focus and IPD (Interpupillary distance) adjustments found on even the cheapest set of binoculars.
Here's a video with a clear description and graphics to show why fine adjustments to IPD are so important in VR:
