Video..DJDJ Mixing App by Rodrigo Yanez, Demo for the iPad

This is a great DJ Mixing App called DJDJ Mixing App.

It is developed by Rodrigo Yanez who brought us the most excellent Drum Machine Synthesizer called SeekBeats, which everybody knows and loves.

Rodrigo has done a great job with this, tons of FX, four independent decks to play with and a great interface.
Loads of ways to get your music in and it has Ableton Link, Audiobus support and you can also hook it up to your MIDI controller too, all-in-all a very top job.

  • Thanks Sir Doug. Not a DJDJ (at all at all), but this looks as though it might have some fun side effects (as it were) that could be incorporated...

  • Thanks for the Video! Such a great DJ App...awesome feature list.

  • It's a lot of fun if you load up four separate tracks from a Cubasis or Auria project, so like Deck One Drums and Bass, Deck Two could be Pads, Deck Three Guitars or other melodic content then may the lead on Deck Four, you can mash and mix your own project in various interesting ways and create something completely different from the original mix

  • Also I forgot to mention that if you want a chance to win DJDJ and Virsyn VoxSyn we have a code for each of those we are going to give away together, just leave a comment on the DJDJ post on thesoundtestroom website and include the words "Cool Beans" in the comment and a winner will be chosen at random in a few days time.

  • thank you Doug, appreciate it.

  • Your all very welcome B)

  • Nice video, thanks Doug!
Djing isn't my thing but this app looks worth the price just for the ability to slowdown/speed up the tempo without changing the pitch!

Do any other apps have that feature?

Was thinking the same thing. Not Dj-ing, but mixing a little....interested if anyone's got it/using it as an instrument (as it were)...

  • you guys might wanna let Rodrigo know how you feel, as I saw him comment that people have shown interest in the app outside of djing, and that he might take it into directions beyond or in addition to djing because of the interest.

The above is a nice way of using it outside of the normal DJ type thing
