Gadget new Kamata synth demo (another one)
Kamata: lovin it, lovin it, lovin it...
Here's a demo of some of the diverse sounds it can make (please don't think it's just for chip tunes). This is 4 different instances of Kamata (couple of basses, some strings and a bell-y lead sound). Plus a London kick and some Toyko percussion.
Kamata basically sounds beautifully digital and has a very strong, loud sound which is nice going into reverb or being filtered.
Anyone else loving it as much as me? I'd love to hear some other demos.

fantastic track man. sadly i think i'm in the minority that just doesn't like kamata then again i kinda hate
The Korg Volca FM too and this one can sound surprisingly similar to it. i loved the track. but i guess i'm just
not cut out for clean digital synths. i prefer my sounds phat and dirty.....
Excellent track, and a super demo of Kamata.
Thanks!
@gonekrazy3000 @richiehoop
Thanks both...
Yep... it sounds clean and sharp.
But you can dirty up the bass a bit - in a very digital kind of way.
Nice track. Thanks for sharing!
You just cost me $9.99.
...really nice track though!
nice track matt
Thanks @fjcblanco @wim @enc
Very kind of you. Just a rough thing I did last night. The bassline sounds a bit too offbeat to me on recent listens.
But the main thing was just to take Kamata for a spin.
I think it has a 'cleaner version of Animoog' type feel to it.
One thing I like is the ability to wobble the pitch with both the LFO and the separate pitch envelope. You can get quite a nice tape wobble feel to long decay patches.
