Guitar Capo+ Strum test with GADGET
Hey guys.
i made a thing:-
I'm terrible at strumming so bear with me. this is just a test to show that strumming in gadget is possible
using Guitarcapo+
presets and gadgets used:-
1) DARWIN -> M1EX PRESETS -> 64 FingerPick
2)DARWIN -> T1 FRETTED -> 10 Folk 1
3)Literally a copy of 2) since i fail and i'm too lazy to edit the file again.
4)DARWIN -> M1 PRESETS-> 4 Guitar 1
5)GLASGLOW -> TRITON-> 36 Acoustic Guitar
6)GLASGLOW -> TRITON -> 82 Jazz Guitar
7) GLASSGLOW -> TRITON -> 49 Chorus Guitar
8) ALLTOGETHER NOW (ALL 7 patches running simultaneously)
personally im a fan of the sonic garbage that is 8. This is all without adding any effects or eq. just the gadgets and their presets.

Thanks. I like 8 best too! I was using Guitarism last night in this same manner into Gadget. I like the strumming better in that app - but like Guitar Capo better for the automated strumming patterns you can set.
Try keeping the PO button on in guitarcapo. It makes the strings continue to play. Just like how guitarism does it. After finding that out I pretty much just use guitarcapo now.

I've also very found of GuitarCapo+, but, I can't find that function...
It's on the iPad version - not iPhone. At the top it says Strum 1 , Strum 2 etc. Along the bottom is a slider where it says Strum speed. When you hit the square chord button where it says Current Chord it will finger pick or strum the chord (if you have strum speed set to max)

I'm on iPad Pro 12.9" so that's plenty of room to strumming all kind of ways ;-)
Oh I forgot to mention - but for those with both iPad and iPhone - I had Guitarism running on my phone sending midi over Bluetooth to Gadget. Fun way to work

I'm definitely going to need to try this. I'm a guitarist, and generally don't care for guitar emulations in iOS, as they just don't capture the nuance and subtle variations of "real" playing.
That being said, GuitarCapo+ has always gotten pretty close. As I'm using Gadget almost exclusively lately, this might be a good combo for me.
This is a cool idea that I never thought to try, but used guitarism to do it last night and it can lead to some cool results.
