The Fall of Icarus
Imagine discovering a old case which belonged to your grandfather, in the loft and covered in dust. Brushing away the dust you carefully open the case and as you look inside, your heart gives a little leap as you find an old photograph. In the photograph you can make out a piano-like keyboard and a screen of some sort which is displaying a series of blocks.
You had heard rumours in the family that grandfather was an "iOS musician" but no one really knew what that was.
As you lift the yellowing photo out of the case you are amazed to see the screen and piano-like keyboard, as if they were new!
You touch the screen and even more incredibly the screen lights up and you can see a series of square images. When you touch one of these the screen changes to display a series of old-school user interfaces. Eventually you find one that is similar to the one in the photo and there is a play button, which you touch with a sense of anticipation and excitement!
From a built-in speaker you suddenly hear vintage electronic music from a bygone era for the first time in many years!
Apparently the sounds were made by some things called iMini and Animoog. What a nostalgic yet melancholic sound!

You then ask yourself: how did this "photograph's" battery stay charged all this time?
Very nice track! Sepia Analogia.
It may have some affinity with this little "photograph" I dropped at some indeterminate time in the murky past.
Thanks, @Lady_App_titude !
The screen (the iPad) was actually underneath the photo when it was taken out of the case and the battery was still partly charged because it had been left powered down (or in Airplane mode at least!)
Nice track of yours too! I can hear the affinity. Mine was played backwards in Dedalus.
I thought it might have been the extra power reserves captured by Iracarus's solar-panel wings before they burned up.
Mine was all one sample of Jakob Haq saying the word 'future," processed in Kontakt and overdubbed a zillon times. It comes from our future but will be discovered in a twin-paradox past.
Nice, reminded me a bit of Fripp/Eno
Cheers @RedSkyLullaby
My brain just exploded @Lady_App_titude
@AlterEgo_UK As I listened to your track again, I began to picture some sort of early analog synthesizer from some alternate steam-punk universe… Something with a hand crank, a sort of a combination of a hurdy gurdy and a mutoscope (an early arcade movie viewer). You deposit a dime and it plays sepia-toned flip book movies and modular synthesis calliope music.
Enjoying exploring your Soundcloud page, but it is vast and eclectic (which makes it a little daunting) but many tasty goodies to uncover for sure.
That is exactly what I had in mind @Lady_App_titude !
Glad you are enjoying my SC page too!
My eclecticism is why I chose the name A Multitude of One. One person with a multitude of styles.
Reminds me of Frippertronics. It's got a tape loop quality to it. Kinda of like The Benefit of Mr. Kite. Great job as usual!
