Ominously seductive feedback. I'm perpetually one (or five) apps / plugins away from the elusive There. :)

Saturn, by the way, is by far the best guitar amp simulation in iOS. It's a resource hog, and it's plain amp simulation (crunch or lead), without modulations, reverbs or delays (Volcano and Timeless are there to help you), but the quality of the timbres is superb.

I just used Saturn on my Bass Track for a song. It really spiced it up nicely! I tried THM Overloud as well, but..Saturn gave it a much more "warm" feeling. More natural and seemed to cut through the mix better, and at the same time, left a bit of the Bass behind to anchor the track as well. Saturn is awesome! :)

  • Sometimes I use Overloud THM to add stomps on top of a Saturn amp sim. :)

Don't get me wrong, Overloud THM is by its own right a great amp sim, capable of very good results, specially if you need several processed tracks running at once - Overloud TMH is surprisingly light on the CPU! Sometimes I use its rack effects and stomps in other contexts, not only for guitar, but also for drums and even vocals (oops, I just revealed one of my dirty tricks :p)

Here's a song where all the guitars are processed with Overloud THM:

That is a great song. You have any youtube video's of your fancy finger work?

  • Me messing around in Auria Pro

Thank you very much! :) Do you like the guitar timbres? I forgot to mention I also used Overloud THM for the bass FXs.

  • P.S.: I'm about to paint one of my studio's walls in blue, to be able to apply chroma keys in my videos. When this is finished, I'll record videos for all my songs. :D

Looking forward to seeing the results of your painting...

Any examples of this ? I'd be curious to hear some.

Dammit. This is just the kind of nebulously seductive testimony that I knew was coming.
