Spectrum Grab in Auria's Pro-Q 2?

edited July 2016 in General App Discussion

I'm having trouble figuring out if this is possible on iOS at all. Has anyone managed it?

There are instructions for it in the app, online, and in the Auria PDF manuals, but some of them are for the desktop version and involve 1) hovering the mouse cursor over the spectrum, and then 2) grabbing one of the peaks by clicking it. Tapping and holding a finger sort of freezes the spectrum (or rather the peaks), but utilizing a second finger does nothing. So I'm wondering if the feature is accessible at all in this touchscreen version. Maybe I'm missing something obvious?

(But the FabFilter synths too have some features that you're supposed to "right-click" to access, so it seems not every feature is necessarily accessible on iOS. Unless I'm indeed missing something.)

  • It's not available in the Auria plug unfortunately. I remember Rim was going to ask the FF team about it.

  • Oh. :( Thanks for letting me know, though. It's unfortunate it's advertised as one of the features in Auria's Store and mentioned in the manuals and Help systems. It was even one of the selling points for me. I know I'll get a lot of use out of the plug-in anyway, but I hope they might one day fix this. Making it doable using two fingers should be possible, after all.

  • Might be worth dropping a line to Rim on the Auria forum.

  • It would be more useful to contact FabFilter directly.
