AU ?
It looks really cool btw
Right now it's a FLStudio plugin for testing, and as you know FLStudio is WIN only... so no luck YET.
Buuuut... FLStudio is coming to the mac. NATIVELY!
I never thought I'd see this day! They're in alpha testing now which means probably... late 2016 ... early 2017 release. But fingers crossed!
Reading through their forums, there's a dude Audiojunkie (which I believe is also here) who was asking about a true sampler with loop points & sustain and all that good stuff.
And the dude from ImageLine said YES. WOOT!
Can hardly wait for it.
What's really amazing is that FLM3 will be a free update for existing fruittyloop mobile users!
Yeah, that too
Looks pretty nice and easy to handle on touch screen, and also looks pretty lightweight.
For instance, I love GarageBand for its being simple, but man I hate those animations.
I'd totally forgotten this was in development, it's been so long...
Are you certain?
Yup they said that in a blog post that FLM 3 will update the current FLM, and if you don't like the new one, you shouldn't update
Is this the one? It looks completely different. Much much improved.

Nope, that's the current version 2.
Will it cost the same?
Don't know what it will cost if you buy it new once it's released. They may have a sale, or put the price up. But they have said it will be a free update.
I got mine on sale for $9.99 looong (almost 4 years) time ago....
Ok, that's what I meant. That's the current version, right?
On the description it says IAA but is it like GarageBand Only audio or can we trigger midi notes from other apps with it ? Same question with Groove machine mobile. I have redownload beatmaker 2 yesterday and it s a fantastic app i donno Why i have deleted it months ago ...
Don't get your hopes up on this one.... :-(
The current version does let you use IAA instruments, (Well, subject to the usual caveats re IAA) so that you can play them via FLM2s onscreen keyboard or midi, you just select them from the instrument page.
It doesn't always distinguish properly between instruments and generators though I'm told that's because some developers haven't properly labelled their apps.
come ooooon Beatmaker III!!
Agree, I guess and hope we'll get the updated apps before the developers go on summer vacation...
I'm personally waiting for Cubasis 2.0 and like the vague definition of 'in a few moments'
Desire is the root of all suffering.
That sound preview interaction at around 0:45 is genius.
Beatmaker 2 Its an MPC beat machine on steroids. I have my Native Instruments VST's sampled inside of Beatmaker 2 and it sounds amazing. When you purchase NI's Maschine packs (desktop version) they give you the instruments in sampled wavs taged with note information, so you can map them to Beatmaker's keyboard sampler. I have my 36gigs Maschine sample pack imported and now have Maschine on the go inside Beatmaker 2 lol Its a beast. I do all my sequencing in this app now. The flexibility of pitch control and how many banks you have. I also have it linked to my Dropbox account were I have a terabyte of space for 10 bucks a month
@Samu has been commenting here for a while about wanting a great dedicated sampler on iOS.
I'm trying to do that with iMPC PRO loading samples one a time into audiopaste is a drag. I deleted BM2 a while back but will have to revisit it. I dont have hardly any sample libraries cause I'm just learning how to sample since I got impc pro. I'm trying to sample the Cubasis Alive Kit which I really enjoy a lot for rock songs.
Delete iMPC Pro and redownload Beatmaker 2
or run another sampler app via iaa, that way you don't lose your snapshot mixer per sequence and other features you can't get elsewhere.
Or add MIDI IN to Samplr ) So I can sequence that and sample the output in Cubasis or smth...
I've started developing iOS apps for a year an a half now, but although I'm a DIY person, doing audio shit is hard. And from what I've read from @MichaelTyson Swift is not optimized for audio yet, and I don't know Objective C.
I have so many ideas for a simple sturdy sampler...
Honestly the one in BM2 is mega awesome. I even love the retro UI, but man, the file manager is a total mess
Anyone here with a windows machine that can test it? You can download FL Studio 12 and use it as a demo.
I've tried running it in a virtual machine on my mac, and although FL Studio works, the plugin doesn't.
I'm really curious about the synth, the sampler, and how you edit drums.
Thanks!
Don't you put the plugin directly into FL Studio main folder?......... There was a video on the FL website about how to install it.
