iPhone versus iPad Pro volume
I've got a live set up using Aum and various apps. I've been using my iPhone 6s. I just tried to use the same set up with an iPad Pro 12 and the volume is quite a bit louder. I think I've got the same set up (I don't think you can share Aum projects?) and just wondered if I've missed a setting on the phone, or it just sends out a different volume? Anyone know or had similar experience? Thanks

Are you using an external interface ? Headphones ? Or the internal speakers ? If it's speakers then yes. The volume is different.
If you are just sending out from the headphone jack then yes there is probably a big difference. In terms of sound quality I find a big difference between my mini2 and air1.
This is using an iLoud, so through the headphone socket. Thanks for replies. I like the portability of the phone but it would need to be boosted somehow.
I use a UCA202 on my mini while on the train. Works great and the price is right for such a thing. You will suck more battery though of course.
Oh and it requires the camera connection kit.
You can share AUM files. I put them in AudioShare and then use AirDrop to transfer them over to another device. When you open the files in AUM on the other device, they appear in your inbox.
Louder on my IPHONE6splus than IPAD AIR 2.
Better quality on IPAD AIR 2 and 1
If you are xfer Audioshare between IOS devices or PC you can do it WIFI as well, no?
Regards the OP: Are you sure that "High Quality" in AUM is set the same in both? Also, if AudioBus is involved that Measurement mode is the same in both? These settings can affect volume.
Yes, you can use WiFi drive in AudioShare to transfer files to and from another iOS device, or PC via a browser. This can be useful if you have an older device like an iPad 2 which doesn't have the right Bluetooth chip to support AirDrop. You can use AirDrop with newer Macs as well.
Thanks for that. I never thought to long press!
Yes, I tend to turn that on automatically now. I think it makes a difference with the sound but not the kind of volume difference I'm seeing. I'm surprised, but I don't know why.
