Anyone with experience of Zoom U-24 as IOS audio interface?
Has anyone used this and have any comments about it. Currently I use a Zoom H2n as audio interface to my iPhone but it is a bit of a faff connecting it to Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter and a usb power supply even though the H2n is battery powered.
Can the U-24 function without external power whilst connected to an iPhone or iPad (although more interested with iPhone)? The other option is an iRig Duo (looking for stereo inputs) but the Zoom seems to be at a very attractive price.

From my reading of the specs, power options when connected to iPad are: external PSU, other 5VDC supply (e.g. USB power bank), or 2x AA cells in U24.
