Anybody use a Seaboard RISE?
I just too a look at one at the store and it seems phenomenal! Went to the store to get a Komplete Kontrol series S keyboard and ended up being more interested in the RISE overall. So curious what you who have one think.

I think it is totally amazing; and I don't own one.
Yes, it's awesome! Just needs some practice, like every instrument does. Feels like a string synth instrument (violin, guitar) for piano players. It's not a 'better' Midi keyboard, but rather a completely different type of playing. I'd love to buy another, even smaller one in the pocket size of a Quneo, because the Roli plays so much more nicely and smoothly, with very precise velocity sensitivity, aftertouch etc. Makes much more sense to me (having started as an instrumentalist) to have heavy modulations directly embedded into a silicone pad as opposed to using stiff buttons and knobs.
Combined with the Noise app, you have a lot of modulations at your finger tips, it just needs some external treatment (drive and/or comp) for more thickness and consistent levels, but having such a variety of pre-mapped sounds let you focus more on playing. Other apps work also great, most importantly Moog 15.
its awesome.....i circle around it for 3months cause its so expensive, but after 1hours playing with NOISE or better! Equator(great!!) in a dark room just with my fingers on the surface of the rise25 there is no, really NO way back.
For ME it is THE product of the Year!!!

It's pretty uncomfortable to play while strapped prone face down and forward on the hood at 80 MPH, while on acid.

@RikMaxSpeed of Zedsynth fame works at Roli now. The Roli app is really good also, will be interesting to see if that develops some more
