Two mics in a looping setup
I have a pretty regular looping setup where I have one guitar and two mics. The guitar and one of the mics goes to the looper (Loopy in my case). I'm using Vocalive and Bias FX for effects and processing on those. The nonlooped mic currently goes to Logic on my Mac for processing. This is because I can't figure how to run it purely on iOS.
I can of course create a third route in Audiobus for the second mic, but I can't use Vocalive for effects on two routes and running a dry mic is not really preferrable. I would love to get rid of the need to use the mac.
So my questions:
- Anyone using a similar setup using only iOS?
- Any recommendations for a vocal processor app similar to Vocalive that I could use for the second mic as a workaround?

That depends on what you're doing in Logic with the second mic.

I like this one because it is AUv3, you can have multiple instances of it going at the same time.
Now... You are far beyond many of us sofa musicians, so I'm not doubting you... But I'm curious, why use two mics? If you are wanting to simplify the setup, it seems like you could accomplish what you are doing with AUM and aux sends for switching to different vocal fx.
Thank you for the voice rack link, perfect!
I'm using two mics because sometimes you want to loop something you're singing or beatboxing, and sometimes you want to record a guitar loop at the same time that you're singing. One mic goes to the looper, the other does not. The other option for this would be some sort of override button, but Loopy does not support this, I have two mics available and even if there was an override, it would take a precious button on my pedalboard.
