Video..AudioMaster: For Podcasts and Music, Mastering App Demo for iPad
Audiomaster : For Podcasts and Music is as you would guess a Mastering App.
It users 13 fixed presets that you can choose from to quickly and efficiently Master you finished track.
Now this method of mastering may not be to everybody’s tastes but it really does make the job of mastering a whole load simpler.

Thanks for doing this, it has definitely piqued my interest. Sounds good and certainly easy to use! Sometimes couldn't hear a lot of difference between the settings, and more control would be nice, even just an "amount" control, and the waveform dusplay could do with being larger (and maybe a before and after?), but hey at the price you can't complain!
Thank you Sir Doug. In a model that only gives you a single try it's nice to hear a little more...the only issue to my poor ears, having tried a track of my own, is that there appears to be very little difference, almost none, between the 13 different presets. Yes, they're louder than the original, but they sound remarkably the same....
Listen carefully.that's not the case.subtle difference but...
Very subtle
HOWEVER, I did 'master' a track I'm working on in Final Touch last night and then applied one of these presets this morning to the original and in direct comparison it's a lot better than what I managed. That's worth 5 bucks. For time, (relative quality) and keeping from putting my hand in a fire I know little about....
That's a pretty good testimonial!! I'd love to hear others' experiences!
Thanks for doing this Doug!!
Thanks for the quick review Doug. Worth $5 just to keep my hands out of the fire

With the outrageous volume boost, it's impossible to tell what the filter is supposedly doing. This seems to be a (very attractive) fossilized version of the Howie Weinberg mastering app, which at least has a way of tweaking and adjust the sound?
FYI: After the free trial, you can keep trying it for free, you just only get 1 free export.
So...Final Touch and Audio Mastering both have presets like this app has. Are we saying that these presets here are superior to the other two Mastering apps? I'm all for easy and as a result use the presets in the other two because I Don't trust my ears. But I want the best presets I can get for 5 bucks. Is this one really better for instant done-ness?
Trouble is I have them all now, but I need to someone else to listen to them and tell me what to think
Surely there must be one or two knowledgeable and at least slightly opinionated people on this forum..
Mr Goodyear, maybe you could be brave enough to pick a song from your archive and master it with all the choices (apparently the most recent app only takes two seconds) and post them for us to opinionate upon.
That's Doctor Goodyear to you young man....erm, that's almost a decent idea. Let me marinate it upon it etc.
I'm not terribly knowledgeable, and have no slight opinions I'm aware of, but I ran a final mix through this, Lurssen and Auria (w/Pro-L, Pro-Q and co.) and shared my thoughts here. Hope it helps:

@eustressor thanks for your opinions. That's good stuff. Maybe the Doctor will agree when he finishes his marination.
Dr.Goodyear.... I'm likin that!
his main advice was to get your own opinion...
after all it's a matter of taste and not science
'mastering' without an opinion about the mix is simply impossible.
You suggest 'the louder, the better', which is just not called 'mastering', but maximising loudness.
But even worse: YOU have to decide way earlier in the construction of the track, if you're after a result with a lot of impact. Even if you squeeze the hell out of something it won't have the punch of a track with a proper arrangement that leaves some space for accents...
cheers, Tom
There are indeed, but I'd still urge to not accept anyone's opinions as the absolute 'be all and the end all'. What applies to one person may not be applicable for someone else.
Like with all mastering tools you don´t get "musically good" results if you push the drive input too hot.
The same happens with this app.You get good results when you take back the drive slider at the bottom.
What itˋs missing is a "scaled" input slider,so that you can remember your setting for the next time.
I get the best results by setting the slider at half way between the default (which is way too much) and the
original (which you can see by pressing the "compare-button").
