Have I missed the new gadgets sale price?! EDIT: Australian dollar is screwed o_0

I went to buy the new Kamata and Gladstone gadgets this morning. I thought the sale finished on the 31/07/16.
But all three of the new gadgets are listed at $14.99.. That's $45 for the three!! I thought they were $10 each, or is this just the Australian pricing?!

It doesn't show that they are on sale, did it previously?

Comments

  • The price is still the same in the U.S. App Store.

  • I think the sale is until the 31st

  • @InfoCheck thanks for the confirmation. Can you remember if it showed the sale price on the gadgets screen within gadget?

  • The new gadgets were not included in the sale.

  • Is $9.99 the sale price and they're about to go up to $14.99? Because that would be a new level in gadget pricing. And kind of a bummer.

Yes that's correct. Looks like they might be going up to $20 each here in Australia

Looks like they are according to discchord http://discchord.com/blog/?currentPage=7

  • Yup full price for new gadgets in Australia is $20 each o_0
    $15 is 33% off!

  • After double checking with the Auria forum, the listed price for IAP of the plugins were US$22.99 and converted to $35.99 just before purchase confirmation. I backed down soooo fast.

  • Should be 9.99 each as stated at the korg app info section.

But I believe they will go up soon to $14.99, according to Discchord. Something to contemplate. Kamata, against all odds, seems the most versatile.

I love Kamata, it's so much fun to play. I couldn't get myself to buy the other two, after listening to the demo's, they didn't sell them to me.

This is what I thought, until it was pointed out to me that they are included, but on a lesser discount. Not the 50% that is off older stuff.

Having said that, I took the plunge with Gladstone and Madrid, and have been absolutely delighted with the sound quality. So much so, in the case of Madrid, I was able to ditch iFretless Bass. *

    • I should make it clear that all the iFretless stuff is superb, but very much aimed at traditional musicians, with the skills to know where to place fingers on the virtual strings, etc, as opposed to those of use with little or no real world instrument skills, who just have tunes buzzing around our heads.
  • It was (is?) a third off.

It is. final gadget prices for the 3 new ones is 15$. they're 10$ currently. so that is a saving of 15$ if you grab all three.

  • Just picked up Gladstone but not had time to explore yet.
