[AURIA PRO] Has anyone noticed that...

... you can export a clip to Lyra, as a sample, in the Edit/Share menu?

Well, technically, Lyra is just a sample player (albeit arguably the most powerful on iOS), but if you add all the editing capabilities of Auria Pro, you have a powerful sampling environment. I'm really impressed I haven't noticed this little gem before. If Rim add key assigning, multilayering and pitch shifting with time stretching (so the clip/sample keeps the same duration as it's played across different pitches) and voilà: we won't miss EXS24 anymore!

  • P.S.: in fact, just add the ability to add a sample to its own pad (Lyra also has velocity sensitive pads!) and I'll be very happy!

  • Pretty cool find there!

  • Good spot. Will have to make use of this.

  • Very cool. So much in AP that I don't make use of (until today!)....

  • I wonder what other hidden gems will we find as we continuously use Auria Pro...

Rim has other plans regarding a true sampler...an additional and way more powerful Lyra"XL"with all the options you are asking for (multilayer etc...).At least that was the plan in the beginning of auria pro.

  • Very nice!
