Logic Remote's Alchemy
Just played around on this beaut! Man, so much fun and power! I haven't seen this mentioned so I thought I'd post it here for anyone who didn't know about this feature in the Logic Remote.

Thanks for the tip. I had no idea this even existed!
I'm loving the remote app with logic, it's like having the playability of garageband on ios with the power of logic, been using it quite a bit with alchemy. One thing I've found useful is touching the beats/bar readout to get the scrubbing option up, so you can slide through the timeline with ease, touch it again to get rid of it. Think it's about time full alchemy 2 made its way to ios, thought of alchemy with the ipad pro will ensure I have sweet dreams tonight.
Well ..........if they're gonna do that they might as well just go ahead and bring Logic on over as well. iLogic Pro X Touch Pad Wizbang....whatever they call it. Auria Pro has proven that an overwhelming amount of Logic's features could happily exist on iOS...minus the 5-billion terabytes worth of Apple loops perhaps.
I could see them doing a version of logic that's cut down like garageband ios, but the speed at which apple moves is similar to a glacier at times. In the meantime though I'd happily settle for alchemy 2, camelphat, camelspace, sculpture, delay designer, compressor, space designer and a few other bits and pieces, au of course to tide me over.
One thing I've found very useful with logic pro x, is putting all my apple loops, alchemy libraries and the like on an external drive using symbolic links. Logic treats my external hd like an internal one and doesn't try to download all the libraries again like it would if you were using alias's, saves mucho space, although you have to crack open terminal to do it.
Very true. I can't imagine it's very high on their to-do list. Though Logic has been getting a fair amount of love lately in terms of updates. Even if they've been minor updates it's nice to know someone is out there. I've read about the process you speak of for storing the extra content. If I ever get a computer that doesn't require a lap I'm gonna have to take that approach. Sculpture on an iPad would be phenomenal.
If you don't have logic you can get mainstage 3 for 30 bucks and get all the instruments that are in logic and use the logic remote. It works with GarageBand too!
