    Yes, using Figure alongside iKaossilator or Novation Launchpad (also a free app) just got much easier and more interesting.

    It was a fresh download, but the iPad has been giving me some strangeness lately, so I'll try a device reset and re-download and see if that makes a difference. :)

    ***Weird...fresh download had installed an older version. I checked for updates and the latest is ready to be installed.

    Anyone noticed what the new sounds are?

    It's been a while since I've played with Figure but it's nice. And sounds nice.

    I think a cool LINK set up for a live jam could be:

    • iPhone running Figure
    • Mini jack output of iPhone into cck into iPad
    • iPad running something equally jamable such as maybe BlocWaves, iElectribe, Gadget, iKaosilator or Elastic Drums (or Samplr or even TNRe using MidiLinkSync)
    • Both into AUM for mixing/any effects and recording

    I think with some practice I could make an ok live ad-lib track like that.

    The beauty of coming relatively late to iOS music apps is discovering little gems like this app. So much damn fun for free!

    @Matt_Fletcher_2000 that's a cool idea for a live jam but how much latency would be introduced by running mini jack out of one device into CCK on another?

    Virtually none i'd have thought (although haven't tried it). You could go out of the iphone into the behringer uca222 audio interface (which has very little latency to my ear) and then into the cck on the ipad.

    EDIT: and if there was any slight latency you could then correct this in post because AUM would give you Figure on the iphone as a separate track

    Odd...I updated figure but it shows up again in the update section with the same update.

    I check figure and it has link and the two new drum kits.

    What am I missing?

    @Seangarland , i got notification of another update , when i update both iPad and iPhone versions are the same now

    Stay tuned to see some. more updates in the next few months that integrate Figure better into Reason.
