Fluxpad
Anybody here (betatesters?) that knows when Fluxpad, by the same developers of Elestic Drums, will be out? Last news on their website is from March this year.
Looks like an amazing live performance app

Don't know the release date, but this app will arrive fully baked. Impressive progress over the course of the beta.
Sound good! Curious.
out on the 6th of September http://mominstruments.com/fluxpad/
This app is so much fun.
First impressions are it looks good and.....I like it.
Getting confusing with all the Flux_ apps
(was sort of joking there about the flux apps, but actually I'd consider changing the name so it's not mistakenly assumed it is affiliated with Flux FX apps(there is FluxFX, Flux, and FluxFX play). Not that would be a bad thing, but you know....)
That's a cool interface, and I have total faith in the Elastic Drums guys, but GOD, what ugly sounds on those demos! Reminds me of the Matmos record where all the samples were based on a liposuction procedure. (Blech.)
Yeah, so this app just sings when importing my own loops (and making new ones on the fly). I don't care for the onboard sounds either, but clearly someone does!
Glad to hear that! I resisted Elastic Drums for ages because I thought I was only going to sound like a Mouse on Mars remix track, based purely on the demos for the app.
Good to know it's launched soon. Instant buy for me if it's not too expensive at launch
Another good music maker for the little monster, when he finally gets enough of Skram. Could be a nice companion to Egoist, when it finally gets Link going, for me too.
Anyone testing fluxpad and know how the midi connectivity works and what function it serves?
Hi @mannix, fluXpad is developed by Jan Trützschler (tea tracks) and Mouse on Mars.
I only help the guys with promotion and organization.
fluXpad just got approved from iTunes, so it will be in the stores in September the 6th on time
Thx! Can't wait
