SOLVED - Bug in AUM using AUX ?
Hello,
I'm trying to redirect midi from Modstep from an iPad to an other.
It works well, I trace midi with midivision on the second iPad, and the channel and the notes are there.
But, on the second iPad, I use AUM, with my AUX synths, and there the midi channel goes to channel 1 (not Omni as I first thought...)
If I use IAA synths, no problem at all.
I've tested with Ruismaker, Isem, Bassalicious, and Enkl, same issue...
I've posted here
http://kymatica.com/forum/index.php/topic,188.0.html
But I guess the dev is on holidays, that's why I'm asking a confirmation here...

I can run multiple MIDI channels using the virtual MIDI output from Genome. I can filter out any number of MIDI channels for AU synths in AUM. In this example I have three instances of the NS1 AU app in AUM with Genome sending out MIDI on channels 1-6. I've filtered out the MIDI channels in AUM's MIDI routing so that the first instance receives MIDI channels 1-2, the 2nd 3-4, and the 3rd 5-6.
Wow, you're right, it works with Genome...So it seems it's a Modstep bug !
Thanks for helping figuring out
@crony you're welcome. One of these days I'll have to buckle down and figure out how to use Modstep myself.
Hmm...I'm dumb, finally, there's no bug...I must have done something wrong in the setup...
Sorry for the false alert...
