For me,the best mellotron on ios.i also use ad480. This app has no midi,no AB,no IAA but despite that,remains https://www.dropbox.com/s/aud4h48vcl75kqg/AD-480-pro - mellotron xl-processed-wet-.wav?dl=0

Cool demo and nice playing! Dare I say, though, it almost sounds too clean to be a Mellotron. Sounds more akin to a straight sample playback app....? Perhaps my exposure to the Mellotron's sound is too narrow. What are your thoughts on the M3000 HD app?
That's by the reverb - it's way to much and a too lush setting (imho), like concerthall or similiar.
The AD480 can be set very clean, so it doesn't add 'thickness' of which the mellotron already has plenty.
According to what's on the web Mellotron XL claims to have the same sources as Omenie.
Hint for filesize: you can safely record any Mellotron in 16bits, there is no more dynamic in the sound.
Even mp3 wouldn't matter as the signal lacks hard transients - you couldn't tell the difference...
(given a proper encoder is used - it's worth a remix...)
